A native of Cranston, Rhode Island, Kirstyn began dancing at Rhode Island Ballet Arts Academy at the age of 6. She continued on to join Rhode Island’s ballet theatre (Ribt) in the fall of 2006 and performed in a number of company performances over the years. Upon graduating from La Salle Academy in 2013, she began pursuing her degree in Marketing with a minor in Dance at Springfield College.

Kirstyn’s college career was enveloped with dancing. During all four years she was a member of the Springfield College Dancers, acting as Vice President and President of the club. During this time, she performed in a variety of pieces choreographed by herself and other club members. Kirstyn was also a member of the Springfield College Dance Repertory Company. She had the opportunity to perform in pieces choreographed by renowned choreographers as well as participate in dance conferences around New England. Lastly, Kirstyn was a member of the Springfield College Pride Dance Team, performing at sporting events as well as competing at the regional level.

Since graduating from Springfield College in 2017, Kirstyn pursued a Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Johnson & Wales University. She completed her degree in May of 2019 and is currently a Business teacher at Cranston High School East.
